Our story: building trust, growing together

At SafeTrust Home Services, we're more than just a home care company. We're a team dedicated to supporting our community, fostering young talent, and delivering exceptional service across New Zealand. Discover what drives us and why we're passionate about making a difference.

Why we started: bridging gaps, building futures

SafeTrust Home Services was born from a dual vision. Firstly, we recognised a growing need among busy New Zealanders – both the working class and for the senior citizens – who simply don't have enough time for maintaining their property. We're here to fill that gap, making daily life easier and more enjoyable. Secondly, and just as importantly, we're committed to creating meaningful job opportunities for the younger generation. We believe in empowering youth, challenging outdated perceptions, and fostering a team that works with trust and to the highest standards. We wish to be the bridge between the schooling system in New Zealand and the workforce.

Our passion: helping those who need it most

Among all the services we offer, we hold a special passion for helping the elderly. We understand the simple joy of sitting in the outdoor, watching the sunset, or enjoying a well-kept garden. Often, this isn't possible due to overgrown trees or discarded branches or long grass. We love helping seniors reclaim their outdoor spaces, transforming overwhelming properties into manageable, beautiful havens where they can relax and enjoy life without the burden of heavy garden work.

Our commitment: quality, trust, and care

At SafeTrust Home Services, how we do business is rooted in the principles of quality, trust, and genuine care. Every task, whether it's a quick garden makeover or a complete landscape renovation, is approached with meticulous attention to detail. We pride ourselves on our reliable team, trained to deliver exceptional results and ensure your peace of mind. We're here to build lasting relationships through consistent, high-standard work and a deep understanding of your needs. We have a specialized team for every job that needs to be done. This system ensures that all work is completed to a high standard.

Our co-founders

Meet our CEO

My name is Shiven Oza, and I am a 17-year-old dedicated to providing reliable and high-quality support to members of our community. From a young age, I have been passionate about helping others and caring for the environment, whether through gardening, farm work, or property maintenance. I started this initiative with my Co-founder and close friend, Will Curle to offer practical, trustworthy services while fostering a sense of care and connection within the community.

In addition to my community work, I have gained valuable experience in management and administration through my work with two companies, including an investment fund company. These roles allowed me to develop skills in coordinating operations, streamlining administrative processes, and supporting teams to ensure efficiency and productivity. I became adept at handling multiple priorities, maintaining accuracy, and managing projects—all skills I now bring to every service I provide.

I have consistently demonstrated academic excellence throughout my schooling, achieving Excellence endorsements in both year 11 and 12.

Supporting senior citizens is especially important to me, and I strive to make every interaction meaningful, combining professionalism with genuine care. Through my work, I aim to help community members maintain their homes and properties while building strong, lasting relationships grounded in trust, respect, and reliability.

Meet our Executive Assistant

My name is Will Curle, and I am a 17-year-old with a strong focus on practical work, responsibility, and personal growth. Through my experience working on property maintenance, I have developed hands-on skills and a strong work ethic. I have assisted with a range of tasks on residential properties, gaining experience in general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep. This work has taught me the importance of reliability, being hands on, and taking pride in maintaining properties to a high standard.

Beyond practical work, I have pursued activities that have strengthened my discipline and leadership. I hold a Second Degree Black Belt, which reflects years of commitment and perseverance, and I have spent three years with Youth Search and Rescue (YSAR), developing teamwork, problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. I have also achieved the Silver Award in the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, building independence, leadership, and teamwork through service, skill development, physical activity, and outdoor challenges.

These experiences have helped me develop a strong foundation of practical skills, discipline, and dedication. I take pride in working hard, learning continuously, and delivering reliable results in everything I do.

"SafeTrust Home Services transformed my garden and gave me back my evenings! Their team was professional, efficient, and genuinely cared about what I needed."
